How to Receive Toys

If you are in need of toys or know of someone who is in need, here is what to do...

  • The recipient family must reside in Denver
  • Children 11 years and younger are eligible to receive toys
  • This year we will serve children born in 1997 and after
Families receiving assistance from Denver Human Services in the following categories: TANF, Medicaid, Food Stamps, and children born in 1997 and after who are on SSI (Supplemental Security Income) will automatically receive a letter inviting them to the shop to receive toy certificates redeemable on one of the four days during the shop's operation.

If a family DOES NOT receive one of the following categories of assistance listed above, then you may apply to receive toys by contacting:

Salvation Army
Urban League
Head Start
Denver Public Schools Social Services Department
Volunteers of America

Applicants will need proof or residency (driver's license, rent receipt) and proof of children's ages (birth certificate, health card, social security card).
