Receive a Toy

To ensure an efficient and fair distribution of free toys, we work with Denver area social service, welfare, charitable, religious, housing, etc., agencies and organizations, inviting their clients to The Denver Santa Claus Shop to choose toys for their children. If you need help providing toys for your family this Holiday Season or know someone who does, please note...

• Recipient families should reside within the City and County of Denver
• Children 11 years and younger are eligible to receive toys
(children born in 1998 and after)
• Families must be registered with a local social service agency, such as:

       o Catholic Charities
       o Denver Human Services*
o Denver Public Schools Social Services Department
       o Head Start
       o Salvation Army
       o Urban League
       o Volunteers of America

*Denver Human Services’ clients in these categories: TANF, Medicaid, Food Stamps; and children born in 1998 and after receiving SSI (Supplemental Security Income) – will automatically receive a letter inviting them to The Denver Santa Claus Shop during its four-day operation.

Denver Santa Claus Shop admittance is available only to clients of local social service, welfare, charitable, religious, housing, etc., agencies and organizations. Please contact an agency directly regarding eligibility for their services.

When you arrive at The Denver Santa Claus Shop, you will need proof of Denver residency (driver's license, rent receipt) and proof of children's ages (birth certificate, health card, social security card) for admittance. You will receive a gift certificate for each eligible child – so you can shop and choose toys for your little ones.
