The Santa Claus Shop is looking for donations.  We accept both new and "gently used" toys.

Below is a list of the items the Santa Claus Shop prefers:

-Dolls-Particularly, large dolls, Barbie Dolls and Latina dolls in festive dress are especially
            popular
-Books (appropriate for kids aged infant to 11 years old)
-Coloring books and Workbooks
-Flashcards
-Toy cars of all makes and models
-Board Games
-Infant and Toddler toys
-Toys for building (blocks, Legos and Tinker Toys)
-Athletic and sports related, especially footballs and basketballs
-Action figures

We do NOT seek electronic toys which require batteries or toys which are violent in nature, such as guns or knives.  We also do not distribute videos or DVD's or bicycles.

DCPA Helps DSCS

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts is helping The Denver Santa Claus Shop toy drive. Theatre patrons who drop off a toy at the DCPA from Saturday, December through Friday, December 12 can receive a $10 discount to the powerful play, The Miracle Worker.

Just bring a toy to any performance of A Christmas Carol during December 6 - 12 -- toy bins are near the Christmas tree in the Bonfils Complex Lobby at the Denver Center for Performing Arts. Or, bring a toy to the DCPA Box Office -- hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and one hour before evening performances. Use the promotional code SANTA when purchasing tickets. This offer is good for the December 10, 12, 17 or 19 performances of The Miracle Worker and discounted tickets are subject to availability.


It's so simple, even Scrooge would approve!
