In 2007, nearly 14,000 Denver area children received free toys

 

Depends on generous people, companies, organizations, etc. to donate toys

 

Encourages companies, families, groups, etc., to hold new toy drives

 

Asks for “Timeless toy” donations – dolls, trucks, balls, books, games, etc. – for children from newborn through 11 years old

 

Sets up giant, temporary “toy stores” so parents can shop, choosingtoys for their children

 

Welcomes parents who are “invited” to The Shop by referrals from social service groups (Department of Human Services, Salvation Army, Volunteers of America, etc)
